Job Description

The incumbent of this position is responsible for: Knowledge of CSFP/TEFAP regulations, policies and procedures and has the ability to work cooperatively with program recipients, other agencies, and partners. A valid driver’s license is required.

SUPERVISION: Works under the direct supervision of the WIC Nutrition Manager and general supervision of the Child Development and Nutrition Services Director. 

Exercised: None.

RATE: $26.94 -$28.53

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate a variety of program tasks, while having the flexibility for changing situations.

  • Strong writing and computer skills including email and general spread sheet design.

  • Ability to drive agency vehicles and forklifts.

  • Ability to travel frequently throughout Hillsborough and Rockingham Counties.

  • Ability to coordinate all TEFAP food distributions

  • Responsible for implementation of TEFAP allocations and distributions of food items to recipient organizations.

  • Responsible for distributions for all CSFP food boxes to participants.

  • Attends State CSFP/TEFAP advisory meetings, as scheduled, as representative of the agency.

  • Responsible for monitoring and compliance with all federal and state policies and procedures related to the distribution of CSFP/TEFAP/SFMNP commodities.

  • Responsible for Receiving and distribution of all SFMNP bundles

  • Tracks all donations for reporting purposes.

  • Seeks out new opportunities to expand programs and increase volume.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel when needed.
  • Will maintain professional boundaries with all current, past, and prospective clients, and maintain the confidentiality of clients and staff, in accordance with SNHS policy and procedure.
  • Abide by all CAPHR Safety policies and procedures.
  • Present professional and positive image as a representative of CAPHR.
  • Responsible for having adequate knowledge of all CAPHR programs and will gather sufficient intake information to make referrals to other CAPHR programs which are beneficial to the client and his/her family.
  • Perform other related duties as required. 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • A high school degree is required
