In partnership with Hannaford's and their Charitable Foundation Grant.

The year 2025 kicked off with exciting news as Hannaford's Charitable Foundation identified then selected CAPHR as a funding recipient. As a non-profit organization, CAPHR adheres to a strict budget, carefully prioritizing spending to maximize impact. This is why Hannaford's $50,000 donation is particularly significant. Unlike wine, cargo vans don't get better with age.

CAPHR's 2025 Summer Food Program needs to safely and effectively deliver over 30,000 meals each summer to youth facing food insecurity, which requires a dependable fleet of vehicles. If even one of our vans breaks down, it could prevent more than 500 youths from receiving meals that day.

Summer foods are an essential service to the communities we serve. The program ensures that at-risk children and teens have access to healthy meals and snacks during the summer months when school is not in session. During the school year, thousands of New Hampshire kids receive free or reduced lunches – and this program was designed to fill the gap during the summer months for these children.

On Behalf of the CAPHR staff and the food-insecure youth in our communities, thank you, Hannaford Supermarkets, for your commitment to distributing and delivering nutrition to all.  Collaboration is key, and Hannaford's remains a valuable partner in supporting the New Hampshire community.
